Which Tests Are Included?
Our package includes test requisitions for all necessary blood tests and an ultrasound, needed to pre-test for an egg freezing cycle. The blood tests include FSH, AMH, LH, E2, TSH, FT4, PRL and other hormones that a reproductive endocrinologist would order plus a full STI panel. The ultrasound is a transvaginal ultrasound that looks at your ovaries.
How Much Do Tests Cost?
Think of us like skipping the first consultation necessary to order your pre-cycle tests. Your labs will be billed direct to your insurance. Like any normal lab test, you are responsible for any co-pay or deductible based on your insurance.
For blood tests, average co-pay is under $30. If ultrasound is not covered by your insurance, the average out of pocket cost is $200.
What Insurance Is Accepted?
We can bill labs to all valid US health insurance including Medicaid. Please note, you are responsible for any co-pays or deductibles for tests.
How Are Tests Done?
We send lab technicians to your home or work to conduct blood tests at no additional charge. For the ultrasound, we will help you find a local imaging center.
Price Breakdown
Through a traditional fertility clinic, having a consultation, ordering labs, and coming back for a follow-up consultation to review test results and get a treatment plan costs an average of $1,500 and takes an average of 3 months. Through IVF Options, you can order all of your tests online for $150 which includes a virtual consultation. Test results can be ready as soon as 2 weeks from the time of ordering.
How it works:
- Place your order. Provide your payment and insurance information.
- In-Home Blood Tests. We send lab technicians to your home to conduct blood tests.
- Ultrasound. Book an appointment at your local imaging center to have your ultrasound done.
- Virtual Consult. Once your results are in, meet with a fertility specialist online to review your results and understand your treatment options.
Getting Your Results
How Do I Get My Results?
Once your test results are in, you’ll be automatically notified by email to schedule your virtual consultation with a fertility specialist, which is included in the $150 ordering fee. This can happen as soon as 2 weeks after ordering, depending on how fast you get tested.
How Do I Attend My Consultation?
Your virtual consultation happens online. You can attend via your laptop or phone from anywhere. You will be emailed an invitation with instructions on how to attend.
What Happens if I Decide to Proceed with Freezing My Eggs?
If you decide to proceed with freezing your eggs, we’ll help you find a local clinic to undergo treatment. Plus, we have affordable payment options to help you get started right away.

We have partnered with Reproductive Endocrinologist Dr. Meir Olcha, MD who completed his fellowship training in Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Montefiore Medical Center. All tests are ordered by Dr. Olcha and all consultations are held by Dr. Olcha virtually to review test results and provide a treatment recommendations.
If fertility treatment is recommended, IVF Options will assist you at finding a local fertility clinic to undergo treatment.
