How It Works
IVF Options has partnered with Emblem Health to offer free fertility testing and virtual consultations. Follow the steps below to get started.
1. Check Your Insurance Coverage
Fill in the form above. A Fertility Advisor will call you to verify your insurance and check your eligibility. Once approved, we schedule your virtual fertility consultation.
2. Attend Virtual Consultation
Log in to zoom to meet with the fertility specialist at your appointment time. The physician will review your medical history and order relevant fertility tests.
3. Fertility Testing
We send lab technicians to your home to conduct male and female blood tests. If the physician orders in-person tests such as an ultrasound, we can help you find a location near you to have the tests done.
4. Follow-up Consultation
Once your results are in we book a follow-up consultation to review your results and get a treatment plan.

What Fertility Tests Are Offered?
Male & Female Blood Tests
A comprehensive panel of male and female blood tests will be conducted including AMH, FSH, TSH and a full STI panel. In women, these tests are used to understand the patient’s ovarian reserve and if she ovulates.
Pelvic Ultrasound
The pelvic ultrasound is used to look at your ovaries, endometrial lining, and uterus. This test can be done at any OB/GYN center or imaging center in the US. This is generally covered by insurance.
Semen Analysis
Semen analysis is an optional test used to test for male-factor infertility, including sperm count and motility.
This test can be done at most Labcorp locations. It may be covered by insurance.
HSG
A hysterosalpingography an X-ray test to outline the internal shape of the uterus and show whether the fallopian tubes are blocked.
This test can be done at any imaging center in the US.
Get Tested by Fertility Specialists
Virtual consultations are provided by fertility specialist Dr. Amir Mor, MD, PhD who completed his fellowship training in Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility at Yale University.
Unlike at home tests that are for informational purposes only, IVF Options sends lab technicians from Bioreference to your home to conduct tests. If you are recommended to undergo in-person tests such as an ultrasound, Dr. Mor will provide referrals that can be used at any center near you.

How much does it cost?
We offer in-home fertility testing and consultations covered by Emblem Health GHI. Depending on your plan, you may have a co-pay and deductible. There are no extra costs or hidden fees. To find out what your co-pay and deductible are, contact your insurance provider.
How much does it cost if I haven’t hit my deductible?
If you have not yet reached your deductible, the out of pocket cost to order in-home fertility testing (male and female blood work) and have a virtual consultation is $299.
When will my fertility specialist consultation be?
We can generally schedule virtual consultations with Dr Mor within 1 week of your request.
Where do I have to go for testing?
We send lab technicians from Bioreference Labs to your home or work to conduct blood tests. If the physician orders tests that must be performed in person such as an ultrasound, we can help you find a center near you to get the testing done. Most tests are covered by insurance.
When will I get tested?
Once you’ve had your initial consultation with Dr Mor, he will order fertility tests including blood tests. We send lab technicians to your home to conduct blood tests. This generally happens within 1 week of Dr Mor submitting the test request. Generally test results are ready within 1 week.
What tests are included?
We will send lab technicians to your home to conduct male and female blood tests. Dr Mor may also provide generic referrals for ultrasound, semen analysis and HSG. These tests are generally covered by insurance.
How will I attend the consultation?
Dr. Mor will provide you with a zoom link to attend your virtual consultation before your consultation.
What if I need IUI or IVF?
In your follow-up consultation, Dr. Mor will review your test results and provide you with a treatment recommendation. If you are recommended to get IUI or IVF which need to be done in-person, we will assist you at finding a clinic near you to go for in-person treatment.
Why should I do a virtual consultation instead of going in to a local fertility clinic?
Most of the time it takes a few weeks to get an appointment with a fertility specialist without being tested. Once you get tested, you have to wait another couple of weeks for a follow-up. This requires patients to take time off work to go to a clinic in person.
We are offer a fast, easy process to get tested and to understand your treatment options before going into a fertility clinic. This helps new patients understand all of your treatment options before jumping into any expensive treatments.
