How Much is IVF After a Vasectomy?

There are 26 accredited IVF clinics with 66 locations across Florida. The cost for one cycle of IVF costs $6,900 to $20,000, depending on which clinic you go to. All cycles will require fertility medication, estimated at $4,425 per cycle.

For male patients who have previously had a vasectomy who wish to have more children, the options are to either have a vasectomy reversal or have IVF with ICSI. Many specialists recommend undergoing IVF with ICSI (intracytoplasmic sperm injection) rather than undergoing a vasectomy reversal due to the success rates of reversals and then the time period necessary to get pregnant naturally. ICSI is an advanced version of IVF whereby the sperm is surgically removed from the testicles and injected directly into the egg. Often ICSI costs an additional $1,000 to $2,000 per cycle, although some clinics include it in every IVF cycle.

We recommend requesting more information from your top clinic options and requesting more information on their IVF and ICSI services.

It is also important to understand that having a baby through IVF is not guaranteed. When comparing IVF clinics, you should also consider the clinic’s success rate for your age range and known fertility issues.

What People Are Saying

I used IVF options to compare prices after getting a referral to a clinic that I couldn’t afford. I saved $6,000 by choosing another clinic with a better donor program.

Amanda, 33

I don’t have insurance coverage for fertility treatment so seeing cost and success rates for my age was really important. I was able to easily find the clinics in Miami that treat patients in their 40s so I didn’t waste my time with those that don’t have the right experience.
